The Capital Wind Symphony

Be a Friend of The Capital Wind Symphony!

It takes a lot to run an organization like the Capital Wind Symphony. As an independent wind ensemble, the Capital Wind Symphony does not receive regular funding from federal, state, or county entities. Dedicated board members and talented musicians are only part of the whole picture. To be really successful in bringing our music to as wide an audience as possible, we need your help too.

Here’s how you can help:

Be a Donor!
Your donation helps us with music purchase and rentals, truck rentals to move large equipment, publicity, and related expenses. As a donor, you will be acknowledged on all concert programs, and have the satisfaction that you are an integral part of the high caliber ensemble. And, as a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, all contributions to the Capital Wind Symphony are fully tax-deductible. Contributions are also eligible for employer matching contributions.

Be a Volunteer!
Ushering, helping with concert logistics, publicity, fundraising -- whatever your interest or training, you can put it to work for the Capital Wind Symphony.

To find out more, please email the director of the Capital Wind Symphony, or at or telephone direct at (540) 687-6026.
